A 17-year-old, whose name was withheld by investigators, was arrested today following an interview in a sexual assault case, it was reported by trooper dispatch.

According to the report, a 14-year-old female was the victim of a sexual assault that was revealed to troopers on April 12th. 

The teen victim told troopers in an interview at the Children’s Place in Wasilla that she had been sexually assaulted by the 17-year-old.

Following that interview, the 17-year-old admitted to troopers that he was aware that the young girl did not want to have sex with him. He was placed under arrest on charges of Sexual Assault II today and transported to the Mat-Su Youth Facility.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
