Anchorage Police Seek Cordova Center Escapee

Anchorage Police are actively looking for an Anchorage man who escaped from the Cordova Center, a halfway house in the city’s correctional system, the Anchorage Police Department stated on Sunday.

33-year-old Webster Leavitt, who was serving time on a Domestic Violence Assault, was housed at the Cordova Center when he escaped. According to Anchorage Police, Leavitt kicked out the window of his Cordova Center room and ran from the facility on Sunday night at 9:27 pm.

Leavitt, 5-foot seven inches tall and weighing an estimated 172 pounds, was weearing a gray shirt and blue jeans when he made good his escape. He has brown hair and eyes.

A warrant for Felony Escape and Criminal Mischief has been issued for Leavitt.
