Anchorage Woman Arrested on DUI, Weapons Charges after Crashing into Lake

image08-04-2015 09.03.54Troopers responded to the scene of an accident on Jonesville Mine Road in Sutton at 12:50 am on Sunday morning to find a red Jeep Cherokee down an embankment and partially submerged in a lake there. They conducted an investigation and contacted the driver, and arrested her on DUI charges, the trooper dispatch reported.

Besides driving under the influence, troopers say, the 42-year-old Anchorage woman was driving with a revoked license and also had a firearm in her possession.

The suspect was transported to Palmer, where she was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and charged with DUI, Misconduct Involving Weapons IV, and Driving While License Revoked.

She was held on $4,000 bail and a Court Approved Third Party Custodian.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
