Aniak Man in Elementary School Arrested on Criminal Trespass Charges

rural trooperOn Wednesday, a report went in to the Alaska State Troopers in Aniak, that a Aniak resident had criminally trespassed into the school in that community.

The caller, from the Kuspuk School District, reported that 60-year-old John Thomas Simeon, who had previously been trespassed from the elementary school, had entered the school, and was still inside. It was additionally reported, that one of the school’s employees had an active Stalking/Sexual Assault Protective Order placed against Simeon.

Troopers responded to the location to find Simeon still at the school. As a result, Simeon was arrested and charged with Violating a Stalking/Sexual Assault Protective Order and Criminal Trespass.

Simeon was transported to Bethel where he was remanded to the Yukon-Kuskokwim Correctional Center pending arraignment.
