APD Arrests Anchorage Man on Sexual Assault Charges Thursday

Special Victims Unit detectives with the Anchorage Police Department reported on Friday that they have arrested an Anchorage man on charges of Sexual Assault I after incidents in mid-April.

According to the report, 21-year-old Kayshawn Dyett was arrested on the charges on Thursday after an investigation carried out by the detectives. The investigation revealed that at approximately 9 pm on April 15th, Dyett picked up a woman and took her to Earthquake Park, then once there, sexually assaulted her.

Then, several hours later, police said, Dyett picked up another woman and proceeded to take her to a midtown hotel where he sexually assaulted that woman in a hotel room.
