APD Thanks Public after Apprehension of Orchard Place Invasion/Homicide Person of interest

Anchorage police thanked the public for the numerous tips that came in to the department in response to their request for information on the whereabouts of a “person of interest” in the February 18th home invasion/homicide that took place on Orchard Place.

Following up on multiple tips sent in to Crime Stoppers, Anchorage police were able to locate Timothy Lundgren at a residence in east Anchorage on Wednesday. When found, Lundgren was taken into custody for questioning. Later, he was arrested on charges of Burglary and Robbery in connection to that case.

Police say that the investigation is on-going and that they believe that there are additional people with information. Those people are urged to call APD at 786-8900, call Crime Stoppers at 561-STOP or submit a tip anonymously at www.anchoragecrimestoppers.com.

Lundgren was transported to the Anchorage Jail where he was remanded with his bail set at $10,000 and a Court-Approved Third Party Custodian.
