Rewards for Donations
The Alaska Native News was begun as a free newspaper for anyone to read. We envisioned becoming self-sustaining through advertising. That hasn't happened yet. We currently expend roughly 10 times more than we bring in.
We don't offer subscriptions because we believe the news should be free. Although, we do accept donations to the newspaper. But, we want to give you something in return.
So, we have initiated a rewards for donation project. For our project, we have the complete 2012 selection of Pit Fired Masks by Lydia Lohse.
The Alaska Native News graciously accepts donations to keep our publication in operation.
Generally our operating costs far exceed our revenue coming in. We appreciate any donation our readers see fit to contribute.
