Four teens are now in custody for the shooting of a 40-year-old woman on the 5600 block of Alora Street and have had their charges amended to add Murder II charges following the death of the woman, identified as Paula Zorawski while hospitalized on Wednesday.

Zorawski was shot when she answered her door at her residence on Alora Street on Thursday of last week.

The next day, Friday, police arrested two 18-year-olds, Michael Fritzgerald and Tommy Hunter, and each was charged with Assault, Robbery and Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance.

Yesterday, September 28th, police contacted 18-year-old Savon Berry at his home on the 600 block of West 34th Avenue and placed him under arrest on the same charges. Berry joined Fritzgerald and Hunter in the Anchorage Jail.

Following Zorawski’s death, Murder II charges were added to the suspect’s lists of crimes.

Police were seeking a fourth person that they believe may have been involved in the shooting, and a warrant was issued for 19-year-old Alonzo Tofpi Steward. But, today at just after noon, Steward turned himself in to police. He had charges of Robbery I, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance and Murder II charged leveled on him.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
