Girdwood Concert-Goer Arrested For Terroristic Threatening and Assault

Alaska State Troopers responded to the Day Lodge at the Alyeska Resort at shortly after 9pm on Saturday for a report of an unruly individual threatening people.

According to the report, troopers were called to Girdwood for a man who was at a concert there threatening to shoot the four security personnel escorting him from the 36 Crazyfists concert.

The man, identified as 26-year-old Ryan Suchan of Anchorage, was being escorted from the concert for threatening to shoot other concert-goers.

Suchan was placed under arrest by troopers, the investigation into the incident recovered a handgun. Suchan was transported and remanded to the Anchorage jail on $5,000 bail.

He was charged with Terroristic Threatening and four counts of Assault IV.
