Juneau Woman Jailed for DUI after Injury Accident on Parks

Alaska State Troopers received a REDDI call at 4:50 pm on Wednesday afternoon. The caller reported the vehicle at mile 169 of the Parks Highway.

Troopers responded, but before they could locate the suspect vehicle, the vehicle was involved in a single vehicle accident.

The trooper investigation at the scen of the accident would reveal that 38-year-old Trisha A. Corser of Juneau had struck the guardrail  at mile 133 of the highway. When she did so, her passenger, an unidentifiewd male and a dog, were ejected from the back of the vehicle.

Although the dog sustained no injuries, the male passenger suffered serious injuries. He was flown by helicopter to an Anchorage hospital for treatment of his injuies.

Corser was transported via ambulance to the Mat-Su Medical Center to check for injuries. She was subsequently cleared from the hospital. Once cleared, Corser was placed under arrest by troopers. 

Corser was charged with DUI, Assault III-DV, and Driving without a License.

Corser was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where she was remanded without bail.
