One Injured in Seward Highway Two-Vehicle Crash

image08-04-2015 09.03.54Alaska State Troopers, along with Cooper Landing EMS responded to a crash site at mile 66 of the Seward Highway after receiving a call of a collision involving two pickups at 5 :59 am on Tuesday.

When they arrived at the scene, their investigation found that as 36-year-old Homer resident Michael William Crawford was traveling southbound on the highway with one passenger, he He stopped to assist an overturned vehicle at that location.

While Crawford was stopped along the highway, 30-year-old Soldotna resident Jarid Roberts, also traveling southbound, slid into the rear end of Crawford’s 1998 GMC pickup. Crawford’s passenger, 35-year-old Natalia Dorota Mulawa, suffered minor injuries in the crash. She was transported to Anchorage by Cooper Landing EMS.

Crawford made his own arrangements to have his vehicle towed from the scene, while Robert’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Midnight Sun Towing.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
