Troopers Arrest Men Responsible for Healy Tri-Valley School Burglary
The men authorities believe are responsible for the break-in at the Tri-Valley School in Healy on Thursday have been arrested and are now in custody.
On Thursday, Alaska State troopers were notified of a burglary at the Tri-Valley school in Healy. When the investigation into the incident was conducted, it was found that 40 Apple laptop computers and other electronic equipment had been stolen from the school.
On Friday, Alaska State Troopers arrested 22-year-old Michael Clark Jr, and 19-year-old Tyler Shold, both of Anchorage after the trooper investigation revealed they were responsible for the forced break-in at the school.
Approximately $12,000 worth of damage was done to the school doors and to computer equipment.
Both men were arrested and booked into the Fairbanks Correctional Center on charges of Burglary II, Theft II, Criminal Mischief III, Criminal Trespass I, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
They are being held without bail.
