Slumbering Kenai Driver Arrested on Several Charges

“Alaska State Troopers Criminal Suppression Detail contacted a male passed out inside a gray 2012 Dodge pick-up,which was parked near the intersection of Marathon Road and Kenai Spur Highway,” the trooper dispatch reports.

On Wednesday, Troopers with the unit contacted the man after finding him unresponsive behind the wheel according to the report. The slumbering man behind the wheel was identified as 34-year-old Kenai resident Bradley Perkovich.

After investigating at the scene, Perkovich was arrested on various drug and weapons charges, that included MICS II and IV, and Misconduct Involving Weapons II and IV. Perkovich was also charged with DUI.

After his arrest, Perkovich was transported to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility where he was remanded without bail pending arraignment.

Perkovich’s vehicle was released to a responsible party who responded to pick it up.
