After positively identifying the victim of the October 4th crash on Farmer’s Loop Road in Fairbanks, and notifying his next of kin, troopers have released the identity of the crash victim as 36-year-old Christopher J. Bringhurst of Fairbanks.

It was on early Sunday evening that troopers received a 911 call from the Fairbanks Police Department alerting them of a single vehicle roll-over on Farmer’s Loop Road. Fairbanks Police and EMS were responding at the time of the call.

Troopers arrived on the scene and determined that there was only one person in the vehicle, and that that person had been ejected from the vehicle. After being ejected, the vehicle had rolled onto the then unidentified victim.

Efforts to positively identify Bringhurst at the scene were initially unsuccessful

Farmer’s Loop was briefly closed as investigators performed the on-scene investigation of the crash site.
