Alaska State Troopers in Ketchikan are asking the public for information on suspicious circumstances and a theft that took place at two locations on Forest Park Drive on Tuesday or Wednesday, the trooper dispatch disclosed,

Troopers received a report of suspicious circumstances from a caller on the 900 block of Forest Drive on Wednesday. That caller reported that someone had entered his pickup truck sometime between the evening hours of Tuesday, and the morning hours of Wednesday, and had rifled through their glove box. The caller reported that as far as they knew, nothing had been stolen.

Later on Wednesday, troopers would receive another call, this one from the 1000 block of Forest Drive. That caller reported that sometime between 8:30 pm on Tuesday night and 7 am Wednesday morning, someone had taken two eight-foot Sun Dolphin Kayaks valued at $280 apiece, from the back of their pickup.
