Troopers were informed of a elderly, deceased woman, who was found dead in her driveway in the front of her house on Timberline Drive on Sunday afternoon.

The trooper investigation identified the woman as 74-year-old Pattie Cucinello of Wasilla.

When troopers responded to the scene at  3:17 pm, their investigation suspected a fatal moose attack in the incident. Although troopers observed moose tracks at the scene, and injuries consistent with an attack from a moose, the official cause of death is pending, as the State Medical Examiner’s office in Anchorage, conducts an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

Cucunello’s next of kin have been informed of the incident.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
