Update: Anchorage police have identified the two victims found at the Valley of the Moon Park on Sunday as 25-year-old Bryant Dehusson and 34-year-old Kevin Turner. They report that next of kin has been notified.

Original Story: A call was placed to 911 just before 2 am to the Anchorage Police Department reporting that the caller had discovered a body in the Valley of the Moon Park on Sunday morning.

The call prompted an investigative response from the department. When investigators went to the scene, they determined that the body on the bike path, was the victim of a homicide.

As they searched the area, they would discover another body nearby. That body was also deemed a homicide.

Police have not released the identity of either victim and the investigation into the circumstances of their death are on-going.

Although the park was closed down, roads in the area remained open.
