The Begich Minute: Alaska OWL Project and Happy Father's Day

In this week's Begich Minute, Sen. Mark Begich commemorates Father's Day by stressing the importance of reading to your children. Earlier in the week he participated in the Alaska OWL project with connects students with distance education opportunities. In this case, students at several libraries across Alaska were able to listen to Begich read Blueberry Shoe, written by Alaskan Ann Dixon, to them from the U.S. Senate.
