Alaska State Troopers report that they pulled a vehicle over on the Parks Highway near Margins Avenue at 3:02 am for an equipment violation and found the driver to be in violation of conditions of release.

When troopers pulled over the vehicle and identified the driver as 47-year-old Maximilian Mirassou, a background check would find that he was driving on a revoked license as the result of a previous Felony DUI conviction. It was also found that he was on conditions of release in a second, pending Felony DUI case.

Mirrasou was arrested, transported, and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with his bail set at $500. He was arraigned on Saturday afternoon in Palmer Court.
