Jewelry Thief Nabbed in North Pole

image14-01-2016 11.07.20Alaska State Troopers reported via the trooper dispatch that they have made an arrest in a North Pole jewelry theft that was reported on January 5th, 2016.

According to the report, troopers with the Special Project Unit, arrested 32-year-old Jaylene Davis of North Pole on three counts of Theft II, a single charge of Theft III, as well as violating her conditions of release from a previous May 2014 theft and fraud case for which she was arrested for in December 2015.

Davis was arrested on Wednesday after investigators recovered stolen jewelry valued at $22,090 that had been stolen from an Astor Drive, North Pole residence. The stolen jewelry was recovered from a Fairbanks pawn shop on Saturday. 

Davis was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center and is being held without bail.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
