Port Angeles Man Arrested in Juneau for $100,000 Washington Warrant

A Port Angeles man was arrested on an extraditable warrant out of Washington state on Saturday night after a vehicle he was a passenger in was stopped for an equipment violation by Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Juneau.

24-year-old Zachary Madding was arrested on a $100,000 fugitive of justice warrant issued out of King County on August 20th for an arrest made there on August 15th.

Although booking information in King County said that he was jailed and bail was denied, within about a week, the Port Angeles man was found in Juneau.

Madding was transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and remanded there to await extradition.
