After receiving a report of a serious crash at mile 38 of the Glenn Highway at 2:53 am on Tuesday morning, troopers responded to the location to investigate.

When they arrived at the scene, AST found a Ford F250 rolled over with extensive crush damage. Further investigation would find the driver pinned beneath and deceased.

Troopers identified the victim as 19-year-old Thor Nilsson of Palmer, his next of kin was notified of the incident.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
