Troopers Investigate Wednesday Togiak Fisheries Employee Death

rural trooperDillingham-based Alaska State Troopers are investigating the death of Emmonak resident, 30-year-old Charlie Kilangak, who died in the small community of Twin Hills from unknown causes on Wednesday night.

Troopers received a call from Togiak Fisheries in Twin Hills at 10 pm on Wednesday night reporting the death in their employee housing unit.

Troopers traveled from Dillingham to the location, and after an initial investigation and documentation of the scene, Kilangak was transported to the State Medical Examiner’s office in Anchorage for autopsy.

Troopers report that the investigation is continuing.
