13 people were injured and transported to medical facilities by air and ground ambulances in a two vehicle collision on the Richardson Highway on Sunday the trooper dispatch reported on Monday.
The report went on to say that troopers opened an investigation into the Sunday morning crash and found that at 10:49 am, a 1994 Ford motor-home, driven by 47-year-old Jesse Johnson, with three passengers, crashed into the rear end of a North Pole tour bus as the bus, with 32 persons aboard, was slowing to make a left hand turn onto a side road.
Air and ground medical transports responded to mile 101 of the highway to transport the injured to hospitals.
