Two Wasilla residents were arrested after the completion of an investigation looking into a commercial marijuana grow operation conducted by the Alaska State Troopers and the Mat-Su SDEU.
The investigation, reported by the troopers, was completed on Monday, and on Tuesday morning, at approximately 3:20 am, officers arrested 43-year-old Cameron Holder and 35-year-old Ernest Stidman. Both lived in the house in the Williwaw Subdivision where the grow operation took place.
During the arrest, officers seized over a pound of processed marijuana ready for sale. Troopers report that the grow operation had approximately 25 plants maintained at the residence.
During the investigation at the residence, two stolen handguns were also recovered.
Both Stidman and Holder were arrested and transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, where they were remanded on charges.
Stidman was charged with three counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV and Holder was charged with three counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV and an additional two counts of Misconduct Involving Weapons II.
