North Pole Woman Indicted for Embezzling from Riverview Quick Stop

North Pole woman, Theresa Hollens, age 38, was arrested on Monday for an outstanding warrant for Scheming to Defraud. She was remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center with her bail set at $20,000.

The arrest came as the result of a Grand Jury indictment handed down last week for embezzlment after an almost year-long investigation by the Alaska Bureau of Investigation’s Financial Crimes Unit.

The investigation into Hollens was begun last year on September 2nd, after she was suspected of skimming over $76,000 from daily deposits over the course of 13 months while she was assistant manager off the Riverview Quick Stop.

On top of the $20,000 bail, Hollens is required to have a court approved third party custodian.
