According to the trooper dispatch, after receiving a disturbance report, Alaska State troopers responded to the disturbance on West Lamont Way at 6:08 PM on Sunday.
During their investigation at that location, troopers contacted 27-year-old Wasilla resident Jennifer Snellenberg. During that time, troopers would find that Snellenberg had two outstanding warrants for her arrest for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Theft IV and Operating a Vehicle without Insurance. As a result of that discovery, Snellenberg was arrested and transported to Palmer, where she was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility with her bail set at $1,050.
The following morning, Monday, at 7:37 AM, troopers would receive a REDDI report for a vehicle traveling near the Seward Meridian and the Palmer Wasilla Highway. Troopers responded to the REDDI report, and located the reported vehicle, a red Pontiac Grand Am, near Mayflower Street in Wasilla.
When troopers contacted the driver of the vehicle, they would find the driver to be 27-year-old Jennifer Snellenberg. The resulting investigation revealed that Snellenberg was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Further investigation would discover that Snellenberg was a felon in possession of a stolen firearm.
As a result of her second contact with troopers in two days, Snellenberg was arrested for Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License, Misconduct Involving Weapons III and IV, Theft II, as well as Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances IV.
Snellenberg was once again arrested and remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility. Following this second arrest, her bail was set at $7,500 and a Court Approved Third-Party Custodian.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
