Soldotna-based Alaska State Troopers reported an early Monday morning Road Rage incident on the the Kenai Peninsula in Wednesday’s trooper dispatch.
According to the report, two individuals encountered 39-year-old Soldotna resident Warren Hodge stopped in the middle of Gas Well Road in his vehicle just after 6 am on Monday. When the two victims attempted to pass the vehicle, Hodge jumped from his vehicle and attacked “the passing vehicle and hit the mirror and windows with his fists,” the troopers reported.
Following this initial contact, Hodge would then pursue the victim’s vehicle for 23 miles all the way to Sterling, before being pulled over by responding troopers.
Once stopped, Hodge was placed under arrest on charges of Assault IV x2. He was transported to Kenai where he was remanded to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility and held there on $1,000 bail.
He has since posted bail. His arraignment date is set for the afternoon of March 11th.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
