While Alaska Wildlife troopers from time to time find tender crewmembers without commercial crew-member licenses. But, on Monday, during a boarding in the northern Gulf Coast, Wildlife troopers would issue citations to an entire crew.
On Monday Alaska Wildlife Troopers boarded the F/V Echo Belle while it was tendering near Sand Point. As a result of the boarding, troopers would find that four crew-members aboard the vessel had not purchased licenses as required.
As a result of the discovery, “Marc Sehlbach, age 37 of Dewey, AZ., Tyler Gottschalk, age 18 of Coos Bay, OR., Randall Burns, age 28 of Coos Bay, OR., and Travis Lofland, age 42 of Sarasota, FL.” would receive citations with bail set at $260 each per violation the trooper dispatch revealed.
