A North Pole man, 36 year-old Stanislaus Grzeskowiak, contacted the Alaska State trooper on Friday with the intention of hammering out a deal.
Grzeskowiak wanted laid out his deal to troopers, explaining that they needed to give him $85,000. In return, Grzneskowiak would not commit any of several acts of terrorism that he had planned.
According to trooper reports, Grzeskowiak agreed not to carry out his plans to disrupt the oil companies, credit card companies, cell phone companies, the University of Alaska, and the day to day operations of the Alaska State troopers. In exchange, the state of Alaska was to pay him a total of $85,000.
Grzeskowiak was arrested without incident by the Alaska State troopers and in awaiting arraignment on charges of Terroristic Threatening II and Attempted Extortion.
