Roseanne Barr added her name to the list of Presidential candidates in the state of California yesterday. She declared she is running as the Green Party.

She made the announcement on Twitter. She tweeted, “I am an official candidate. I am4 the Greening of America&the world. Green=peace/justice.”

Secretary of State for California announced yesterday, that in fact, Barr was on the list. There are officially 24 names on that list to be aded to the ballot come election time. The officially certified list will be released on March 29th, 2012. Roseanne is one of three candidates on the Green Party platform. The Green Party will select their candidate in July in Baltimore.

The comic-turned-politician gained the support of NORML, the nation’s largest pro-marijuana group.
