A call went in to the Alaska State Troopers on yesterday morning about 8:05 am from 33-year-old Andrew Earll of Wasilla. He called to report being hit by a red Ford F-350.
Earll reported being southbound on the Parks Highway near Museum Drive when the incident occurred.
As a result, troopers stopped a vehicle, fitting the description, for multiple equipment violations at Big Lake Road and Lucille Creek Road.

The investigation into the incident showed that 31-year-old Kizzy L. Johnson was driving under the influence and operating the vehicle in a reckless manner when she collided with Earll’s vehicle.
The collision caused $5,000 of damage to Earll’s 1997 Ford Explorer. $2,000 worth of damage was done to Johnson’s vehicle as well.
During her arrest, Johnson was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
Johnson was charged with DUI, Assault III, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Collision, and MICS VI. She was remanded to the Mat-Su Pretrial facility and held there on a $5,000 bail.
