Those were the words spoken to 29-year-old Tyrone Kimble at his sentencing for charges of Drug Conspiracy on Friday, November 2nd.
Kimble, also known as “Tizzy,” went before the judge for sentencing Friday after previously pleading guilty for his part in an indictment charging him and his co-conspirators.
According to court documents, Kimble was a member of a Fairbanks drug trafficking organization between June 2010 and March 2011. The organization sold crack cocaine, powder cocaine, and oxycodone pills around the Fairanks community.
The organization was hidden behind what the defendants claimed was legitimate businesses. Those businesses, both record labels, were called “Oil Money Entertainment” and “20 Blocc Entertainment.” The last name comes from the area that the drug organization operated in. In the south portion of Fairbanks the avenues are numbered in the 20s.
The conspirators stated that they were artists, employees and promoters of the record labels.

Chief U.S. District Court Judge Ralph Beistline informed Kimble that Alaska did not need anymore drug dealers and encouraged Kimble to use his time in custody to learn a trade so that he can return to society as a productive member of the community. Judge Beistline sentenced Kimble to 24 months in prison and three years of supervised release.
Kimble now joins three other members of the the conspiracy in prison. They were previously sentenced. Martin Linenko was sentenced to 85 months imprisonment and 5 years of supervised release; Adrian Steele was sentenced to 57 months imprisonment and 3 years supervised release; and Tremain Wilson was sentenced to 78 months imprisonment and 5 years supervised release.
