A suspect in an ongoing theft investigation by the Alaska State Troopers was apprehended at a residence off of Porcupine Avenue in Wasilla on Thursday morning according to the trooper dispatch.

At 8:30 am on Thursday, troopers contacted and arrested 27-year-old Sadie Douglas in Wasilla, Douglas is a suspect in an investigation of several vehicle break-ins in the Palmer-Wasilla area that took place in the middle of last month.
Douglas was observed using a stolen credit card from one of the break-ins at several businesses in the area.
Upon her arrest, Douglas was charged with Fraudulant Use of an Access Device x5, Theft II x2, and Criminal Trespass.
Douglas was transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer where she was remanded with bail set at $3,500.
The investigation into the break-ins is continuing.
