(KODIAK, Alaska) – The Alaska State Troopers in Kodiak are requesting the assistance from the public in locating Brandon Eliott Timpke, 23, of Kodiak who is wanted on a $500,000 arrest warrant for weapons and drug charges. Timpke has blond hair, blue eyes, is approximately 5-foot-10 inches tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds. Troopers believe Timpke is on Kodiak Island, however, there is a chance he may be located elsewhere in Alaska.
Anyone having information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Alaska State Troopers (486-4121), the Kodiak Police Department (486-8000) or Kodiak Crime Stoppers (486-3113). Members of the public should not attempt to contact Timpke on their own. He is not considered to be a threat to the public, however, Timpke maybe armed and is avoiding apprehension.
On 11-14-13, Troopers arrested Timpke in Kodiak on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. Timpke was additionally charged with driving while license revoked, driving in violation of a restricted license and providing false information to police. Timpke immediately posted bail and was released from custody.
Follow up investigation resulted in additional charges being filed with the Kodiak Court on 11/15/2013 against Timpke for Misconduct Involving Weapons in the 2nd degree and Misconduct Involving Controlled Substances in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th degree.
The filing of a criminal charge or complaint is merely an accusation and any person charged is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
