Alaska State Trooper dispatch reports that on Friday evening a Ketchikan man drove under the influence and carried on, after reaching his destination in Ketchikan.
According to troopers, 42-year-old Paul Trujillo of Ketchikan, drove, with his two minor children while intoxicated to a residence in Ketchikan. Once at the residence, Trujillo became enraged, for an unknown reason, and rampaged through the house. During that time, Trujillo verbally assaulted the children while throwing household items. Trujillo continued his rampage, breaking down a bedroom door at the residence.
Troopers were called to the residence after receiving a call from the Pond Reef area.
When troopers arrived at the scene and investigated the call, Trujillo was palced under arrest for DUI. two counts of Assault IV(DV), and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child II.
Trujillo was transported to, and remanded at the Ketchikan Correctional Center with out bail.
