On Thursday, troopers rushed to a residence in Nikiski after receiving a call reporting a child in possible danger.
41-year-old Lisa Kuhr of Nikiski called in to troopers to report that her husband was going to kill their three-year-old child. Kuhr told troopers that he had left with the child and had also taken a firearm with him.
Troopers contacted all parties involved in the incident during their investigation.
AST determined after interviewing the family that the husband had left with the child on Thursday because Kuhr was intoxicated.
Troopers were unsure as to why the woman identified her son as three-years-old and verified the age of the child as being 10. Troopers also noted that the husband was very cooperative during the investigation.
Kuhr was charged with False Reporting and was arrested. She was transported to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility and remanded there with her bail set at $500.
