U.S. Sen. Mark Begich Friday released the first video segment in a series of regular weekly updates titled “The Begich Minute” a one-minute video brief on a range of topics from the week’s legislative activity, positive economic progress, and various issues directly affecting Alaskans. The on-the-go videos will provide a quick, casual opportunity for Alaskans to stay connected to Sen. Begich’s work on their behalf and hear some good news from Washington DC. Sen. Begich’s goal is to post the videos to his YouTube channel and Facebook page every Friday.

This week Sen. Begich talks about the recently-passed transportation bill which is stalled in the House. Sen. Begich is encouraging the House to pass the bill because it means thousands of jobs and nearly $1 billion for Alaska investments over the next two years.
