Alaska State Troopers made an arrest in a Friday burglary after the suspect returned to the residence again on Saturday before leaving yet again, the trooper dispatch reported on Sunday.
Troopers received a 911 call on from a caller in Soldotna that reported that a burglary was in progress at the homeowner’s residence. As troopers were responding to the call, the caller reported that the burglary suspect had left, and gave the troopers a description of the vehicle and the name of the suspect.
Authorities, armed with the suspect’s identity, who was revealed as 34-year-old Lisa Richards, responded to her residence and searched for her vehicle, to no avail.
Then, on Saturday, the victim again called in to troopers to inform them that the suspect had returned to the residence, and had again left. Troopers responded to the area, and soon located the suspect’s vehicle at the Tesoro station near Marydale Avenue.
As a result of the trooper investigation, Richards was arrested on charges of Attempted Burglary I, Stalking II, and Criminal Mischief IV. While her vehicle was released to a friend of Richards at the scene, she was transported to the Wildwood Pretrial Facility in Kenai and held without bail.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
