Early Sunday morning, Alaska State Troopers received a call reporting a sexual assault at the Williwaw subdivision in Wasilla.
Troopers responded to the call of a man sexually assaulting another man at the residence at 3:49 am Sunday morning. Their investigation at the scene found that 28-year-old Qauarliak “Dominic” Manumik of Wasilla had sexually assaulted a 26-year-old man at Manumik’s residence.
The 26-year-old victim was transported to the Alaska Native Medical Center for treatment.
The Palmer Alaska Ureau of Investigations reponded to the scene and took case responsibilty. Manumik was arrested at the scene, transported to the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer where he was remended with no bail set.
