Alaska State troops yesterday afternoon about 3:41 pm responded to a call reporting a shooting at mile 13 Chena Hot Spring Road.

When trooper arrived, they came onto a scene of a non-lethal shooting and determined that the shooting occurred during a domestic dispute between an ex-wife and her estranged husband.

Christine Mills, who was determined to be under the influence of alcohol was arrested for Attempted Murder in the First Degree and Misconduct Involving a Weapon in the Fourth Degree.

Her ex-husband was transported toFairbanks Memorial Hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

The investigation is ongoing.
