Alaska Woman Indicted on Seven Sex Trafficking Charges

A Grand Jury on Wednesday handed up an indictment of three felony counts of Sex Trafficking II and four felony counts of Sex Trafficking III against 39-year-old Amber Batts, who remains in jail on charges,

Batts, the owner of “Alaska Naughty Maids,” was arrested on July 9 after an investigation by the Special Crimes Investigation Unit after they were alerted to online sites that showcased women for commercial sex in March of this year. Their investigation would find that Batts was responsible for marketing women in Anchorage, the Mat-Su Valley, the Kenai Peninsula, Fairbanks  and Juneau.

Batts was arrested on July 9 on Probation Violation charges and has remained incarcerated since that time records show.
