Anchorage police have revealed that the husband that reported his wife missing on January 4 has now been charged with Murder I and II.
As part of their investigation into the disappearance of 32-year-old Linda Skeek, Anchorage police served search warrants for the couple’s home as well as their vehicle. As a result of their warrant searches, police charged a 33-year-old Thomas Skeek with Murder I and II as well as Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Linda Skeek, according to her husband, walked out of their home on New Year’s Day after the two had an argument. He reported her missing on the following Tuesday, four days later. “According to Linda’s family, Linda has stayed away for an entire weekend before, but she always returns home by Sunday night so that she may go to work on Monday morning,” APD said in a release on the case.
She has been missing for just short of three weeks, and, Anchorage police have not revealed if they have found Linda Skeek’s body or other evidence to prompt the murder charges against her husband.
Thomas Skeek is in custody and scheduled for arraignment on Thursday afternoon.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
