At approximately 10:40 pm, Anchorage police responded to the 5400-block of Taku Drive after receiving a shots-fired report from that location Monday night.

Upon their arrival, police discovered a man dead from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The man, whose identity has yet to be revealed by police, was declared deceased at the scene.

The Crime Scene Team responded to the scene and Homicide detectives are seeking witnesses to the fatal incident.
