42nd Avenue and Dale Street were closed down for several hours early on Saturday morning as APD investigated a shots-fired call-in at a townhouse on 42nd Street, APD reported.
Anchorage police received a 911 call reporting shots-fired with injuries at a townhouse party on the 34400-block of 42nd at approximately 3 am on Saturday and investigators responded and opened an investigation.
Two individuals at the party were “shot multiple times in the upper and lower bodies,” suffering potentially life-threatening injuries. APD reported. The two victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries while investigators detained several people at the scene for questioning. No arrests were immediately made.
