Anchorage Police report that they have apprehended the suspect who police were requesting whereabouts information on Monday, November 7th.
34-year-old Danerin Brae Curtindale was taken into custody by APD after a brief foot chase through the 15th Avenue/Gambell Street area at 4:54 pm on Wednesday. The chase was initiated after an APD officer spotted him at that location.
Anchorage Police had asked the public for information on Curtindale earlier this week after a warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of Kidnapping, Assault III, Robbery I, and Burglary I on Monday.
Curtindale had been previously arrested in Ketchikan after a drug investigation snared him and two other suspects for heroin and Methamphetamine in 2012. He pleaded Guilty in that case of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute.
Curtindale also had several prior convictions after arrests in Washington state for crimes that included Sex Crimes, miscellaneous drug crimes, Malicious Mischief III, Unlawful Possession of Payment Instrument, Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, and Possession of Stolen Property.[xyz-ihs snippet=”Adsense-responsive”]
