Authorities have announced an arrest in the stabbing death of 26-year-old Minto resident Jordon Baker.

Baker was found dead by a Minto Village Health Aide on May 2nd in the community of approximately 200 people.
Troopers suspected foul play in their investigation in May, but they released no evidence or suspect’s name to support their suspicions.
But, Wednesday they announced that 24-year-old Carleen Charlie was placed under arrest after contacting her at her family’s residence in Anchorage on Tuesday.
Charlie, Baker’s former girlfriend, was taken into custody by the Alaska Bureau of Investigation with the assistance of the Anchorage Police Department and charged with First Degree Murder.
Charlie was transported and remanded to the Anchorage Jail and held without bail.
