Tanana is still suffering from an Internet and partial TV outage after an incident, just after midnight on January 1st, when the celebration in that community ramped up to bring in the New Year.

HEA Employee Electrocuted While Working in Homer

The Soldotna Dispatch of the Alaska State Troopers received a call of an electrocution at 4:35 pm on Wednesday. The call came in from the Homer Electric Association after they received a call from one of their crews working in the field.
