U.N. Security Council Receives New Complaints on Iran's Ballistic Launches

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND-The head of the Security Council committee set up to monitor and enforce sanctions imposed on Iran over its nuclear programme saidit had received new complaints about the country’s launch of ballistic missiles and clarified concerns or issues over several other matters.

Deficit Super Committee Holds First Meeting

WASHINGTON D.C.-The deficit super committee created during the debt ceiling crisis, held its first meeting today. Theirs is the responsibility to pare the deficit by $1.5 trillion by Thanksgiving. This first meeting is essentially one of organization, and seems bi-partisan today, as the sessions progress, this will probably pass.
