Five Anchorage Residents and One Orlando Resident Arrested on Money Laundering and Structuring Charges

It was announced on Wednesday by U.S. Attorney Karen Loeffler that five Anchorage residents and one Orlando resident were arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit international money laundering and structuring financial transactions.

Alaska Legislature Tells BLM to Clean Up Travesty Well Sites

Juneau, Alaska – With Wednesday’s unanimous concurrence vote in the House, the Legislature passed House Joint Resolution 6 calling on the federal Bureau of Land Management to plug and remediate dozens of “travesty well” sites in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska to protect the land, sea and wildlife.
